An animator in training, from someone who had no art background

Having been lost in direction, and not knowing what i wanted to do as a career, i turned to what i enjoy most, Gaming.

I didn't know where to start, so i called a few places and found that Hagley Community College was the only school at the time in New Zealand (outside of universities/polytechs) offering a course in 3D modelling and Animation. So i'd recommend looking into that, as i learnt a lot in the year i was there. I used that year as a stepping stone to get into Polytech (which you need some experience in art to get into), where they have a course (Bachelor of Design) where you can focus on animation and 3D modelling, and i'm really enjoying it. I'm in my final year there, so i'm a bit nervous as to how our exhibition is going to go at the end of the year. *crosses fingers it all goes well*

I'll go into more detail at a later time, but it's just a quick look at where you can go, as i had a tough time finding good courses to pursue regarding the feild.

Yeah, for sure. It's a good chance to post stuff you usually wouldn't, and it's pretty easy for everyone to access. I like.

You are obviously a genius cleverly disguised as a dumbass; but I can see though your clever ploy.
