im not going to lie to you, it has gotten better, they have done something right.
good visuals, a good number of cars and tracks. but i do have some gripes. i have seen a few reviews for this game and not many talk about the physics in a way they should be spoken about.
the game is very "skiddy" pardon my vocabulary im not very sure of any other words that fit appropriately.
in pretty much every single car you will find yourself going round the corners pretty much sideways, it makes the game difficult when your opponents do exactly the same speed and take the corners on the perfect line with no slipping.
after changing some of the settings, brake and accelerator sensistivity, deadzone etc it helps a bit but the problem is still there. i have conferred with friends and they agree that compared to other notable games: forza, gran turismo, the physics are very wrong.
and this is not even taking the drift into account, after a 20 minute practice session, i gave up after not being able to do the drifting as it should be done. ie. you should not really spin out at the speeds you do.
i hope you dont see this as being to negative, because the game is a huge step in the right direction, in my opinion it just needs some fine tuning, for it to justify its tagliune of "combining the physics with the feeling of going fast" or tio that effect
