Well this a review for the ps2 version of the tmnt movie game named tmnt. Ive seen alot of reviews for this game and ive been seeing alot of bad reviews around 6 out of 10. Now I just rented this game out yesterday and as soon as i started playing i started loving the graphics were much better than i thought they where the platforming and jumping around and running on walls is amazing and fighting scenes are just plain fun even though it gets kind of repetitive.

Im only 13 and i have not seen the original cartoon and i dont wont to anyway but ive seen the second and third movies and just last week i saw the new tmnt movie it was sooooo good that i couldnt wait to see it again and i did just 2 days ago. This game is based on the new movie and continues the story of the original movies and im fine with that because its better than seeing 4 big chubby cutsy and ugly balloon things jumping around buildings.

This game might just be a little too hard for really small fans of the show cause my 11 year old brother tryed to climb up a wall but couldnt and got frustrated and threw the controller on the ground hard , luckilly the controller wasnt damaged.

I will give you a little bit of a spoiler though , unlike the movie this game has the shredder in it.The team attacks are amazing and so easy to do for example if your don and you hold down the square button he will jump up in the air and so will raphael and then some stuff will happen the when he jumps back down with rapahael a bolt of electricity will attack all of your enemies.Every turtle has a special ability like mikey being able to fly with his nunchuckas (thats what i call them) and raphael being able to climb up specific walls with his sais.The only things i dont like about this game is that it might be a little too hard for small kids and that the bosses are a little too easy.

If you are not sure about this game just rent it out or wait until it comes down in price.
Overall in my opinion this is the best platform game since jak and ratchet and yes its better than god of war (in my opinion)This is a definite buy for a true tmnt fan young or old even if you dont like it .

So i think this game deserves a 8 out of 10.
