December 2017 Game Release Schedule

December 2017 Game Release Schedule

The year is all but behind us, and the holiday season is on the horizon. But before you start getting your wish lists ready, 2017 still has some releases up its sleeve.

If you're looking for a hefty RPG to keep you busy over the upcoming break, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases for Nintendo Switch. If you had your fill of shooting aliens and picking up their loot at launch, more content is arriving for Destiny 2 in the form of its first expansion: Curse of Osiris.

For a more in-depth look at upcoming games – including some we may have missed – make sure to check our supplemental “Releasing This Week” article every Monday.

Note: While this list is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, it is difficult to cover everything, especially with the growing prominence of downloadable and indie games. The dates of some releases can also shift around. If you notice anything that's missing, please let us know in the comments, or by emailing

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for me! :D I'm really feeling it!

Tempted with Okami, but I've already played through it so I probably don't need it right now (wow, I'm getting better at doing that!). Amazing game though!
