While the last few weeks have been relatively quiet on the gaming front, that looks set to change. We’re getting into the swing of things next month, with some major titles on the horizon soon after. Thankfully, we’ve organised some of the biggest upcoming releases for February into one handy article. Remember, you’ll also get VIP points for following games – so make sure to add these ones too!
February marks the release of For Honor – Ubisoft’s action-packed combat game. Players fill the shoes of either knights, Vikings, or samurai as they engage in brutal melee encounters. If samurai and punishing combat is your thing, Koei Tecmo’s Nioh is set to release too. Set in a fictionalised 1600s Japan, players will face monsters in tense, strategic fights.

This game contains some new features, as well as every stage available in the Wii U version of Yoshi's Woolly World. There are exclusive new stages focused on Poochy. Time Poochy’s jump to collect beads as you head for the goal. Poochy Pups also appear for the first time. These little helpers jump on suspicious spots to indicate where you should look for secrets and collectables.
Set against a vibrant background reminiscent of a medieval European town the Atelier series’ 17th instalment follows the exploits of a young novice Alchemist who discovers she is the owner of an enigmatic volume imbued with a soul. This Mysterious Book seems to hold all the secrets to Alchemy knowledge and it goes on to become Sophie’s mentor.
Coming off the heels of its predecessor, WWE 2K17 arrives as the reigning and defending flagship WWE video game franchise champion with stunning graphics, ultra-authentic gameplay and a massive roster of WWE and NXT’s popular Superstars and Legends.
Take up your sword and travel to Japan’s blood-bathed Sengoku period – an era ravaged by warring states and dark, malevolent forces – and cut a violent path through the land as the masterless samurai, William.
Cross blades in brutal hand-to-hand combat, wielding swords, axes, spears and even war hammers against foes both human and demon. Endure the vicious encounters and learn from your mistakes: each death will bring you resurrection and each resurrection a greater resolve to overcome your foes.

Players will have the opportunity to enter an all new original Dragon Ball story in DRAGON BALL Fusions’ Adventure mode or prove their fighting prowess in Multiplayer Battle mode.
