A list of everything coming to your gaming platform of choice between now and the end of the month!

With last month's big releases, like Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, Metro Redux, and Ultra Street Fighter IV out of the way, it's time to look ahead to what September has in store.

September 9 marks the release of one of the biggest titles of the year in Destiny, a new first-person shooter / role-playing game from Bungie, the team that created Halo. Other noteworthy releases this month include Disney Infinity 2.0, Hyrule Warriors, and inFAMOUS: First Light.

September 2nd

Payday 2: The Ultimate Steal Edition

Payday 2 is an action packed, four player co op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original Payday crew Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains as they descend on Washington D.C. for an epic crime spree. The new CrimeNet network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to major league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic payday. The Ultimate Steal Edition inlcudes all released DLC and updates.

September 4th

Disgaea 4

The fourth main series game in Nippon Ichi's popular Disgaea strategy RPG series. Originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2011, an enhanced remake is coming to PlayStation Vita in September 2014, with a wealth of additional content.

September 5th

Tropico 5

The fifth game in the construction and management simulation series, Tropico 5 will be the first to support both cooperative and competitive multiplayer. Tropico 5 allows players to manage their country from its historical foundation in the colonial era, through World War 2, the cold war, and then the present - another first for the franchise.

The Sims 4

The latest entry in the biggest gaming franchise ever released on PC (more than 150 million games in the series have been sold to date!), The Sims 4 expands on the "virtual person" gameplay with much deeper content creation tools and more emotional resonance in the characters.

September 9th

Destiny

The next game from the team that brought us Halo, Destiny has a massive budget, suggesting that both Bungie and Activision are expecting it to be very successful indeed. It's set 700 years into the future and things look pretty grim. An event of some sort has brought mankind to the brink of extinction; it's up to the player, their friends, and random strangers to team up and put things right.

September 10th

inFAMOUS First Light

Locked up in a prison for super powered humans, Fetch Walker is forced to relive tragedies from her past. Unravel her dark secret in Seattle while battling to escape snowy Curdon Cay and seek vengeance against those who wronged her.

September 11th

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, a murder mystery visual novel that got a Japan-only PSP release in 2010, followed by an international PS Vita release in 2014. Once again, the game follows a group of high school students thrown into a life or death situation, though this time around its on an island paradise, rather than in a closed down school.

September 12th

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

Disney Infinity 2.0 is a sequel to Disney Infinity, featuring characters from Marvel Entertainment as well as various Disney properties. All figures and power discs from Disney Infinity are compatible with Disney Infinity 2.0.

September 19th

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call

Wow that is a lot. :| But some of my most anticipated titles of the WHOLE YEAR there so Sept is a pretty cool month.

Not even counting the fact that Smash 3DS hits very soon after Sept ends too lol, I'd say I'm gonna be pretty busy/poor for awhile.

Don't think it's like Telltale story games ... watched some trailers on YouTube, and you need to do your own investigating in Sherlock Holmes style. Looks more like a super-charged point-and-click adventure, but nowhere near as clunky as the traditional p+c games.
