There has been some major changes since the last game and now the customization options have grown to an all new degree where you can not only customize your look but now you can customize your crib with various stripper poles, pool tables, 40 inch LCD's, and the overall style to look crumy and down right poor or you can have pimp look with the works. Also you can customize your ride to greater expectations with spinners, body-mods, spoilers which is a great way to earn style points and earn the respect you deserve while rolling down Stillwater. While driving through Stillwater you might want to check out the nearest plastic surgeon, for a substantial price, change your appearance, gender, race, build, age, fighting style, walks, taunts and a whole lot more to satisfy your needs.So now that you've got your new look you might as well change your wardrobe so head on to Branded or On The Rag clothing stores and choose your favourite style from hot pants to pimp hats change the colours, change how you want to wear it and you're done, and if you want to change your look you can always head on down to your nearest crib.The choices are great and the customization options are great, and it's easy.

Developers at Volition.Inc have also changed Stillwater to great lenghths with up to date buildings, longer roads, just about everything thus making a great playground for the player or players as developers have also added a new online co-op mode to play through the story or just blow each other up it's your choice . But there has been some complaints that the online gameplay freezes and can be frustrating other than that it's great for you and your mates or whoever you want to play with. Just watch out for cheaters.

The plot follows you and the 3d Street Saints regain control of Stillwater fighting against 3 new gangs that have taken control.The Ronin, Sons Of Samedi and The Brotherhood also the Ultor Corparation.
The story starts starts off with two security guards walking towards a prison hospital ward ranting on about their lives and and what happened in the events of Saints Row. Then they meet a sarcastic nurse who tells the security guards about the patient and it reveals to be the main protaganist from the last game and he/she was in a coma after the incident that happened on the yacht with the mayor. The explosion had killed the mayor and the others but you survived and now have just woken from a coma and extensive surgery. The nurse takes off the bandages and now it's your time to choose your appearance. Ater you have finished creating your character you find yourself talking to an inmate who got himself stabbed just to meet you. It turns out that he is a brother to a former 3rd street saint and his name is Carlos. You and Carlos form a plan to escape from the isolated prison which was fairly easy and you can choose to do the tutorial or blaze your way out of there. Once you have gone through either ways you and Carlos find a stashed boat which is the only way off the island and you have to evade the patrol boats and assualt helicopter by any means necassary. After the chase you end up on a dock and now the great story of the 3rd Street Saints begins. Carlos insists that you stay low as the cops are after you but who is he to say that I should stay low, this is Saints Row 2 you can do whatever you want so I ignored him and the first thing I did was get into some trouble with some pimps, oh what good times. But the tide turned and and the pimpsgrew in numbers so I eventually gave up and continued with the story.The story missions are great fun and packed full of action you wont want the game to end also the cutscenes are enjoyable to watch with great voice actors and stunning visual effects this story will have you gripping the ends of your sofa it's so intense.

The controls are very basic like GTAIV but now as you drive you can go cruise control which makes drive-by's easier to do. And there is no lock on mode just free aim mode which is to some players displeasure but you'll get use to it.

The graphics and enviroment have been updated to look more realistic and less blotchy but the graphics on this baby are well away from contending with Rockstars GTAIV.

But forget graphics and realism this game was made for pure fun and the intention of the customers enjoyment which is really great. This game is truly wacky fun and great for those boring weekends.
