Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney, the Movie

Known in Japan as Gyakuten Saiban, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is an upcoming movie based on the game of the same name. A courtroom drama, this adaptation seems incredibly faithful to the franchise - even if it does mean the live-action characters look a little ridiculous (the game is presented in cartoon form).

Utterly Japanese, this also looks like it has loads of potential - for the right kind of audience, naturally...

There's no word, however, on a localized release; this could prove to be import-only entertainment. It's headed to Japanese cinema chain Toho in early 2012.
