Wow, I was stunned when I booted up this game. The menu is fine, and looks pretty. But once you get into the gameplay environment is is just plain terrible. The graphics, well.. They are all flat and looks pretty plain. The grass environment is flat, with hardly any texture at all.
Not only are the textures flat and boring, the animations are just as bad. Throwing looks awkward, and so does running.

The AI is just as bad. Once when running someone out, well trying, the ball was a metre away form the stumps so the player decided to run back, wind up and throw as hard as he could. This, of course took too much time and the batsman was safe.
Commentary is plain, boring, repetitive and often inaccurate. "The bowler missed the catch" - uhhh what, the bowler was 10 metres away?!!

Also there is the lisencing issues. Only Aussie and the poms hvae lisenced players. The others are named vaguely resembling those of their real life counterparts. A few manufactures have came to the part, which is nice.

To be honest, I'd avoid this game, and probably wouldn't even reccommend hiring it.
Wait until EA decides to make a new one or Codemasters gets their act together.
