EA Sports 2006 Range at $79.95!

Electronic Arts New Zealand today announced that its 2006 EA Sports range will be released at the lowest ever premium price of $79.95. This is great news for fans of the ever successful EA Sports Range.

Each year EA Sports releases a range of top quality sports titles and this year is no exception. With major improvements made to gameplay and graphics, and some fantastic new features made to the games, this years range is set to be the best ever released.

EA Sports titles are undoubtedly the most successful and most impressive games in their genre, with franchises such as FIFA, Tiger Woods and Madden, they are the pinnacle of gaming for sports fans.

The '06 range includes an expansive collection of sports including:


  • Madden NFL 2006

  • Tiger PGA Tour 2006

  • NHL 2006

  • FIFA 2006

  • NBA Live 2006

  • Total Club Manager 2006



Electronic Arts' General Manager, Mike Wynands, says the new price point is designed to make sports software entertainment more accessible to a larger group of consumers... "The quality of the product this season is very strong. The decision to release our sports franchises at a lower price point this year allows us to reach a wider group of consumers and give them a more affordable experience. Releasing at $79.95 compared to the traditional $99.95 price point get more people playing great sports games"

The first title in the range will be Madden '06 which releases this Thursday 8th September. Following that is NHL and Tiger releasing on Sept 22nd, Fifa and NBA live on Sept 29th. The official release date for Total Club Manager is yet to be announced.
