Packaging for Xbox 360 Revealed

Continuing our news from the Xbox Summit 2005 in Tokyo, Microsoft have unveiled the first design for the packaging that the Xbox 360 will come in. This design featured mainly green and white, matching the console's own colour scheme. On the side of the box text read, Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system is you. It's your future. With the most strong games and the most powerful technology, Xbox 360 puts you at the center of your entertainment experience. With the Xbox 360, you can play the most compelling games, watch DVD movies, and share your digital music, photos, videos, and TV.

Also revealed were accessories which will be included with the Xbox 360. They included: a hard drive, wireless controller, Xbox Live, headset, and a Ethernet cable. Additional accessories for purchase would include wireless controllers, wired controllers ? for times when interference may cause havoc with the wireless controller, memory unit ? complete with a plastic case, rechargeable battery pack ? for the wireless controller, play and charge unit ? lets you play with the wireless controller while hooked up to the Xbox 360 so it can recharge, wireless network adapter ? an antenna which can be plugged into a USB port on the Xbox 360 for LAN. Also available for purchase are hard drives, a remote control, a headset, faceplates to change the look of your console, VGA HD cable, Component AV cable and S-Video AV cable.
