Sony have announced today that the Super Smash Bros.-like fighting game, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, has been pushed back from its original (October 25th) release date. Instead, the title is now planned for release in New Zealand on November 22nd.
"While it is our greatest desire to put this game into the hands of our fans as soon as possible," Chan Park, President of developer SuperBot Entertainment explained, "we do not want to do so at the sake of quality."
"We feel the additional time will be well worth the wait, and are excited to know that our fans will have the ultimate brawler in time for the holiday."
Mr Park also noted that there are announcements regarding the title planned for Gamescom later this week, that they're "sure you’ll be excited about."
Sony's Gamescom Press Conference starts at 5am tomorrow; we'll be covering it right here, so stay tuned for any news and information about this or any other Sony-related announcement in the morning.
