You Could Be in Max Payne 3

Rockstar are running a competition for the recently released slow-mo shooter, Max Payne 3. If you win, you'll be immortalized when your face appears as a multiplayer avatar in an upcoming pack of downloadable content for the game.

Beginning today, and for the rest of July, Rockstar are hosting a number of special Social Club Multiplayer Events; to have a chance at winning the prize, all you need to do is complete one full game using the special playlist, with an account that's linked to their Social Club service, and you're automatically up for consideration.

If you're keen to be involved, make sure you have your Xbox LIVE or PlayStation Network account linked to Social Club. If you haven't already set up a Social Club account, you can do that here. If you already have a Social Club account, you can link your gaming network account here.

The special events, which Rockstar are referring to as "Casting Event Sessions", are happening at the following (alternately NZ unfriendly) times:

Friday, July 6th: 4am - 9am
Saturday, July 7th: 4pm - 3:59pm, Sunday July 8th
Wednesday, July 11th: 4am - 9am
Friday, July 13th: 4pm - 3:59pm, Saturday July 14th
Friday, July 20th: 4am - 9am
Sunday, July 22nd: 4pm - 3:59pm, Monday July 23rd
Wednesday, July 25th: 4am - 9am
Saturday, July 28th: 4pm - 3:59pm, Sunday July 29th

How it will work, from the press release:

Each week we will reach out via email to a randomly selected group of players who have participated and invite them to submit photos of themselves for consideration to be one of our new Gang Avatars. Those selected must respond with a picture within 24 hours to be considered.

One person each week will be selected for casting. If you aren't initially picked, you can enter again the following week, simply by playing another session in the Social Club Multiplayer Event playlist.
