The New Zealand winner of the multi-national design a treasure for Sly Cooper competition has been announced. With her Brass Spyglass submission, a description for which you can find below, nineteen year old Hannah Smith has won herself a PlayStation Vita console and is still in the running for the grand prize, which could see her design appearing in the final game.

The Brass Spyglass: A small, one-of-a-kind, hand-held telescope created by renowned physicist and astronomer, Gervasio Valilei. It has provided many generations with the ability to see far distances in great detail due to its special refracting lenses; these have been shaped from a rare glass smelted from the finest golden grains of sand from the beaches of Italy. This spyglass has an optical zoom of over 30 times, allowing the user to see clearly over 1km away. The embossed black leather has been hand treated by the best Italian tanners and provides the wielder with a confident grip. It could quite possibly be the precursor to the beloved Binocucom.
The first round of the competition kicked off back in April; the next round is expected to be decided by late July, with developer Sanzaru themselves now considering the finalists from each region.
Congratulations, Hannah, and best of luck from the team at NZGamer.com for the next stage of the competition.
