Kirby Collection Coming, But Probably Not to NZ

Nintendo have announced a new "best of" collection for Wii in celebration of Kirby's 20th anniversary. Kirby's Dream Collection brings together six different games that feature the inflatable pink character, starting from his very first appearance on the Game Boy.

The games included, in order of release:

• Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy, 1992)
• Kirby's Adventure (NES, 1993)
• Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Game Boy, 1995)
• Kirby Super Star (SNES, 1996)
• Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES, 1997)
• Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64, 2000)

Nintendo Australia, however, have advised us that they have no current plans to release the game in the local market. If you're keen to get a copy of it, you may need to import. Kirby's Dream Collection releases in the US on September 16th, with a European release not yet announced.
