NCsoft have announced today there will be a second public Beta Weekend Event for Guild Wars 2.
From Saturday, 9 June 2012 at 7:00:00 a.m. Kiwis who have pre-purchased the game the will have access.
The only way players can guarantee access to Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events is to pre-purchase the Guild Wars 2 Collector’s, Digital Deluxe, or Standard/Digital Editions.
In addition to the Beta Weekend Events, players will receive three-day Headstart Access prior to launch and the exclusive Hero’s Band in-game item.
Eligible players should look for an email coming from NCsoft with additional information on how to download the client and additional account registration information. For information on the type of content players will experience in the Beta Weekend Event and exact timing.
Guild Wars 2 is due out in NZ in late June, 2012.

I'm pretty sure the June release date is an estimate on the part of the game stores. To the best of my knowledge the game still does not have an official release date.
Having said that, I'm all over this beta, the last one was great fun even with all its problems. Highly recommend the game.

Hmm, an NZGamer group to meet up on one server? I have friends I plan to play with but I could definitely go for this idea at some point too...
