SEGA have announced the release date for the latest version of Super Monkey Ball on PlayStation Vita. Subtitled Banana Splitz, the game was originally expected in "early" 2012, however it's now planned for release on October 25th.
The game includes more than 100 levels, eight minigames, and a number of features that take advantage of the Vita's unique capabilities; aside from the obvious tilt control, the title also sports an ability to create new levels based on objects you take photos of with the Vita's camera.
Today's announcement also included a number of new screenshots, which you can view in the game's gallery.
