Namco Bandai have announced the release date and day-one bonus content for Tales of Graces f. The title, developed by an internal Namco studio, is the latest in the long-running "Tales" franchise - a series that now claims some 27 titles across multiple platforms.

Tales of Graces f is releasing across Asia Pacific (including New Zealand) on August 30th, exclusively on the PlayStation 3 system. The game was originally released in Japan in 2010, before heading to the US in March of this year.

Additionally, Namco Bandai have announced that a special edition of the game - which Namco Bandai are referring to as the "day one" edition - will be available to early purchasers of the title.

From the press release:

In addition to the game itself, the day one edition of Tales of Graces f - created especially for fans across Europe and Asia Pacific - highlights the artistic talents involved in the game with the Original Soundtrack, Behind the Scenes videos, and a high quality hardback art book, all included in a newly designed folded box.

A special DLC is also included with original costumes from Tales of Destiny 2 and a custom PlayStation 3 theme for Tales of fans to rejoice about.

Tales of Graces f, the first Tales of game to be available on the PS3 in European territories, is set against the backdrop of three kingdoms – Windor, Strata and Fendel – all of which are struggling for dominance of the world. It follows Asbel Lhant as he sets off on a journey with his comrades, protecting the bonds of friendship and fighting for his ideals.

Yeah I wish I didn't import this in February too. This edition looks way cooler. Mine is just case, manual and disc. Great game though. Sucks your going to miss out CheeseTastic, it's just as good as Vesperia :(
