Price Drop: Nintendo DSi Range

Nintendo of America have dropped the price of both the DSi and DSi XL in the US, to $99 and $129 respectively. The drops, which represent a discount of around $50, come into effect from May 20th.

"The new suggested retail prices provide an even greater incentive to pick up the systems, and provide an easy option for parents who want to introduce younger kids to their first portable games," Nintendo said in a statement. "With graduations looming, Father's Day approaching and the start of the summer travel season imminent, the new suggested retail prices appeal to all kinds of shoppers."

No similar announcements have been made in other territories yet, however we've asked Nintendo of Australia about their plans for New Zealand and will update this story with their response.
