Electronic Arts called on a public vote to decided between 32 of the top NFL superstars in a knockout style tournament, to see who would appear on the cover of Madden 13. The winner? Calvin Johnson (a.k.a. Megatron) of the Detroit Lions.

Yah for Calvin Johnson aka Megatron but the Detroit Lions will be hoping like hell he doesn't fall under the dark cloud of the Madden (Box Art) Curse....

Nice touch putting the best WR in the game on the cover. Seeing most of there blogs this year they have done quite a bit to improve gameplay and presentation. Still but madden getting owned by espn nfl 2k5 that game was the best football game period!! Sportscenter was the best after weekly games were finshed!!
Don't really dig this new type of cover. I hope NHL 13 doesn't follow this trend.
