Rockstar have announced their plans for Max Payne 3's downloadable content. Planned for release this summer "and beyond", the extra content will start with the release of the "Local Justice" map pack in June.
As with L.A. Noire, gamers will be able to sign up for a "Rockstar Pass", effectively pre-purchasing all of the planned DLC in one transaction. For 2400 Microsoft Points ($48) or $29.99* on PlayStation 3 and PC, Max Payne 3 owners will be able to download all of the following content - a discount of around 35% compared to the cost of buying it separately:
The Local Justice Map Pack, coming in June, will include the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. The pack will also feature two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges, and more.
