Darksiders II Avatar Items Released for Xbox 360

THQ have announced a collection of avatar items for use on the Xbox 360. The items, which allow users to customize the appearance or accessories of their online avatar, range from full armor sets to props and clothing, all of which is themed on the upcoming Darksiders II.

Additionally, THQ are providing a free avatar T-Shirt to Facebook users who "like" the game's page on the social media network.

Jim Huntley, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing commented: “We are delighted to be able to celebrate the release of the Premium Avatar collection for Darksiders II by rewarding our community with a free Avatar T-shirt.”

PlayStation 3 owners will also be able to access similar items for their platform by way of a "premium" collection, which is coming soon.

Darksiders II is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in August, with a Wii-U version also releasing at a later (unannounced) date.
