Sony have announced a cross-platform pricing strategy that's sure to appeal to PlayStation 3 owners who are planning on picking up a Vita when it releases on Thursday. The deal infers a wider strategy of allowing gamers to participate in experiences on either PS3 or PSV without having to buy that content twice. It breaks down like this:

MotorStorm RC, Hustle Kings, Top Darts, WipEout HD and HD Fury DLC for WipEout 2048, and Capcom’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DLC will be able to be purchased on PlayStation Store and you will then be able to play them on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita - for one price.

Additionally, Motorstorm RC, Hustle Kings, Top Darts, WipEout HD and HD Fury DLC for WipEout 2048 all offer Cross-Platform Play, which lets gamers face off against each other whether they're on the Vita or a PS3 system.
