EA have unveiled the pre-order bonuses available to New Zealand gamers who indicate their interest in Mass Effect 3 prior to its availability in March.

As is increasingly becoming the norm, the offers vary by retailer and there's no way (at least, not initially) to buy a version that contains all of the available bonus content.

The two participating retailers in New Zealand are EB Games and Mighty Ape - check out these handy-dandy videos for details on what each has to offer (note: some of the EB stuff isn't detailed in the video, so be sure to check out the list below the clip for all the info).

EB Games

• An in-game M55 Argus Rifle - accurate burst fire, devastating at any range

• METALPAK packaging

• An... inflatable... Omni Blade (just the thing for pool-side cosplay)

Mighty Ape

• In-game N7 Defender Armor - providing increased health, shields, weapon damage, and ammo capacity

• The in-game N7 Valkyrie Rifle - high caliber rounds, superior accuracy

• An in-game M55 Argus Rifle - accurate burst fire, devastating at any range

The "N7" collector's edition meanwhile, which we detailed back in November, will be available from JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, and Mighty Ape.

Are you going to pre-order? Does this promotion change your mind - either about the pre-order itself, or the retailer you plan to use? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

The correct answer, of course, is "whichever version has FemShep on the cover".

FTR, Mighty Ape for the collectors edition, because I'm a Mass Effect wh**e and I like free delivery to my door.
