Batman Available Now - in Australia

Batman: Arkham City is on sale in Australia days before the intended shelf date. The game was originally planned to hit retail on Wednesday, however reports suggest that Big W - a K-Mart-like chain - released their copies early

As a result, other retailers - including EB Games, as confirmed by this tweet, GAME, and JB Hi-Fi - have followed suit, making Australia the first country in the world where the game is available (its US release date is tomorrow, local time).

A quick check with local retailers confirmed that the same is not happening here; the game will release nationwide on Friday as planned.

If you're hoping to avoid plot spoilers, we suggest staying off Twitter / Facebook / etc for a bit, lest our Aussie cobbers attempt to spoil our fun to make up for the Wallabies defeat at the weekend...
