According to various sources over the Internet, and gaming magazines that have already run their own previews, the next Prince of Persia title will ship Q4 for all current generation consoles and PC.

After his dangerous tour on the Island of Time, the Prince returns to Babylon. But the kingdom proves to be devastated by a war of which revolves around the head of the kingdom. The Prince will quickly be captured, and friend Kaileena will then decide to sacrifice himself by releasing Sands of Time to save the kingdom and the Prince.

Our hero will find himself pursued and discover that his preceding combat on the Island Of Time gave rise to malefic Dark Prince, which takes little by little possession of his heart. The gameplay proposes to feature two different characters having each one their own characteristics. This system of combat named ' Free-Form Fighting System' will give to the player a greater freedom of movement and will thus make it possible to remotely strangle enemies thanks to a mortal whip, as well as featuring other never seen before combat tactics and styles.

"Prince of Persia 3 promises to be the peak of this legendary saga. By proposing two playable characters in a richer gameplay and a perfect mixture between lifting movements and captivating scenario, this ensures that new and old fans will be satisfied with what we produce. The Prince is back, asserting his throne, and still holds many surprises for you fans." Ensures John Parkes, Director of Marketing at Ubisoft.
