Warner Brothers have announced that Robin, as in Batman & Robin, will be available to play in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City's challenge mode... but only if you preorder from JB Hi-Fi in Australia. It's not yet clear if / how the character can be obtained through retail channels in New Zealand.
The Tim Drake version of the character will have his own unique play style, much like Catwoman has her own style - each of which is distinct from the way you play Bats himself.

Arkham City, in case you're unaware, is the followup to the outrageously brilliant Arkham Asylum. Now the asylum has moved to the city and, once again, Gotham's various super villains are up to no good. The new game is open world and aims to provide greater freedom without losing that intense, closed-in vibe of the original.
We've seen quite a bit of it now and it's looking every bit the followup that fans of the first game will be hoping for, bigger and better in every way. Hopefully those impressions follow through to the full game, which releases in October for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. There's also a Wii U version planned, but as the console doesn't come out until "some time" in 2012, it's not clear when that will be.
