When Sony announced the "Welcome Back" package, a plan whereby affected PlayStation gamers could download some free games to thank them for putting up with the extended (and still ongoing) PSN outage, one of the first things to cross the minds of Kiwi gamers was this: how big are the games?
We are, after all, fairly restricted as to how much we can download on most broadband plans in New Zealand, with overage being a potentially costly scenario and something bill-payers (or those that might get yelled at by them) are constantly vigilant of.
With that in mind, we asked Sony to detail the size of the various games in order that gamers have all the pertinent information when choosing which of the free games they decide to opt for.
PlayStation 3
• LittleBigPlanet - 2.1 GB
• Infamous - 8 GB
• Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty - 3.25 GB
• Wipeout HD Fury - 1.2 GB
• Dead Nation - 1.5 GB
PlayStation Portable
• LittleBigPlanet - 1.37 GB
• ModNation - 1.40 GB
• Pursuit Force - 1.88 GB
• Killzone Liberation - 554 MB
