Capcom forms new Studio

Capcom has recently commissioned the creation of a new subsidiary development house, Clover Studio. The new studio will be headed by Atsushi Inaba who produced the critically acclaimed Viewtiful Joe which was released on Gamecube last year, he also had influence in Steel Battalion that was released on Xbox.

The decision to found Clover as a subsidiary development house rather than another in-house development studio was to allow more creative freedom for the developers.

Hopefully this new studio and its greater freedom will help the struggling Capcom bank account.
