Sidhe have released a new video for their upcoming Rugby Challenge video game, chronicling their thorough efforts in obtaining reference material for the game's included stadia.
Check it out:
Duncan, the co-lead artist on the title, dropped the following information about the game in the video:
• 31 stadiums in total, including:
• 14 NZ stadiums
• 6 Australian stadiums
• 5 from South Africa
• The remaining six are from "around Europe"
Dwayne Kirkwood, the photographer shown in the video, let us know that he's "feeling a bit run down with all the autographs today" as a result of his cameo (yet still highly significant) inclusion in the clip. As he pointed out, "world fame will do that to a man". Indeed, Dwayne, indeed.
It's not yet known when the game will release, however it seems a fair bet that it will be around the World Cup, which kicks off on the 9th of September. Rugby Challenge is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and will go head-to-head with ex-EA development team (behind EA's Rugby series) HB studios, who are also releasing a Rugby game around that same timeframe.
