Auckmageddon 5.5 - Registrations Now Open

Legendary LAN event Auckmageddon is back, inviting 200 gamers to participate in a network gaming feast in Auckland's North Harbour stadium.

Running over the weekend of 16th-17th April, Auckmageddon 5.5 is the sixth event of a series that has been running since 1997. “The time was right to resurrect Auckmageddon, and having a big fat fibre pipe supplied by Orcon means we can bring a world-class LAN experience to North Harbour stadium.", said event organiser Richard Patterson.

“We also want to make sure that the event is fun – too many gaming events become super serious and lose the enjoyment element.”

Tournaments will include Team Fortress 2, Heroes of Newerth and the evergreen Counter-Strike, complete with prizes supplied by the tournament's sponsors.
