Modern Warfare 3 to be revealed at GDC?
A teaser site appears but Activision claim no involvement

CVG reported on the appearance of http://findmakarov.com/ over the weekend, a site that would seem to suggest the unveiling of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the upcoming Game Developers Conference, which the countdown coincides with. Vladimir R. Makarov is the leader of the terrorists in Modern Warfare 2 and his fate was (spoiler alert) not concluded in the cliffhanger ending of the last game. Activision came out and quashed the suggestion that this site is legitimate, however, denying any involvement in the website. It looks pretty legit - what do you think?

Ubisoft's got a sexy new Wii game
And, true to form, prudes and priests are upset about it

Ubisoft unveiled a trailer for their upcoming We Dare videogame (trailer below), which is clearly designed to get the juices flowing for a consenting adult audience. Consisting of a number of sexually charged (but not at all explicit or even suggestive) minigames, the trailer suggests that the game could have implications of an adult-themed nature, and, perhaps, a happy ending. True to form, a bunch of advocate groups are upset about the possibility that the game might encourage people to perform the most natural act in the world and are getting their knickers in a twist about it (or, more likely, that they don't get invited to those sorts of parties).

3DS Augmented Reality games demonstrated
Hands-on with the 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS, the no-glasses-required 3D followup to the mega-successful DS, was released in Japan in the weekend, resulting in mega-long queues and the usual Akihabara mayhem that traditionally surrounds major releases. Once the dust settled, though, 1up put up a bunch of videos showing how the various aspects of the system worked. One such video highlights the interest Augmented Reality (AR) games supported by the system, where real-world game cards are placed on a surface and the 3DS system then makes the cards come to life.
