Next year's Mortal Kombat reboot may be receiving version exclusive fighters. According to Official PlayStation Magazine (via shoryuken), God of War's Kratos will be appearing in the PlayStation 3 version. The Spartan previously made his fighting game debut in Soul Calibur for the PlayStation Portable.
The original God of War designer David Jaffe shared his thoughts on twitter, "[He] would have a F*CKALITY and f*ck the SH*T out of Sonya AND Katana at the same motherf*cking TIME!!!!" (Well, there goes my sleep for a week. - Ed)

In related news, a member of Mortal Kombat fan site TRMK stumbled upon some unannounced characters while Mortal Kombat website's security was lax. The security issue allowed him to browse the directories freely and look up unannounced content such as stage music and character intros. The new characters revealed were (drag your mouse over to highlight if you want to know): Ermac, Goro, Kabal, Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Smoke, and Stryker.
