Jonah Lomu Returns to Videogames

Home Entertainment Suppliers Pty Ltd (HES) announced today that rugby legend Jonah Lomu will appear in Sidhe's recently announced "Rugby Challenge".

"HES is pulling out all the stops to make Rugby Challenge an exciting and memorable experience" said David Robles, Business Development Manager for HES. "Jonah is one of rugby’s greats, and will bring an extra something special to the game".

Exactly what this means for the game is unclear but HES go on to say that, in addition to his name and likeness, they'll also be bringing his "motion" into the title. Presumably this means they motion-captured the big guy, or at the very least rotoscoped his indomitable runs ("Lomu! Oh! Oh!").

Jonah will also be working directly with Sidhe, presumably consulting on the various aspects of the gameplay as a Rugby expert - "I’m a big fan of videogames and being involved in making Rugby Challenge is a great experience," said Jonah Lomu.

Rugby Challenge will release for consoles and PC in Q3 2011.

"Bit of argy bargy out there" Classic game, classic player and a perfect time to add 9 stat. legendary characters to the rugby video game franchise.

Now how about some COLIN MEADS and 1 hand carrying!
