Castlevania PS3 Patch Released

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this week. Come launch day, PlayStation 3 owners will have a patch waiting for them. The patch will fix a save game deleting glitch discovered last week.

Konami announced the patch via Twitter, "Fear not, Vampire Killers. A patch for the PS3 save issue affecting Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is incoming. We’ll update on availability."

Although Konami stopped short of an apology, fixing the problem prior to the New Zealand launch should be good enough for kiwi gamers.

According to Gamesradar, the Xbox 360 version has also given a few players a "save file corrupt" message. However, their save games continued to work.
