In an interview with GameIndustry.biz, David Cage, the founder of Quantic Dream, the developers of Heavy Rain has stated that the choice of the PS3 as the platform for the game was the right one. “It was the right platform for what we wanted to achieve. It was the platform with the Blu-ray disc, promoting movies, promoting a more sophisticated entertainment experience.” With the magnitude of the game, the choice may have been influenced by the storage capability of the Blu-Ray format which can hold up to 25gb on one side.
With the studio developing two more titles, Cage did not specify whether they will be loyal to Sony. “With Heavy Rain it was right, but after Heavy Rain the question can be asked whether we should stick to one platform or open out to different platforms”. He added that being loyal to Sony would mean missed opportunities and limiting themselves to a market.
With the better-than-expected success of Heavy Rain, Cage is looking to exploit this accomplishment by developing a patch for Heavy Rain that will enable it to be compatible with Sony’s new peripheral the Playstation Move. He also urges that for the viability of the device, the adoption of this technology must go beyond the causal game “If it’s only about casual entertainment and casual games I don’t think it’s going to play a big role in the life of the console. If it can get more support from triple-A titles then that will be interesting.”

I still think I would've rather had DLC than Move support.
Must be dominated by 360 users Id say?
