The Last Guardian Confirmed for TGS 2010

Sony Europe has confirmed that the Last Guardian will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show this month. In development at Team Ico, the title's most recent appearance was at TGS 2009, having skipped E3 2010 and GamesCom.

The news comes as little surprise, as designer Fumito Ueda hinted at the title's appearance on twitter. Adding a home page link directing to a sketch of what looked strikingly like a Last Guardian creature.

This year's Tokyo Game Show is on from September 16th to 19th.

Thanks for the tip, Rapidity.

I just want to know the release date! Hopefully it's sooner rather than later?! Hoping for a 2011 release at least and not 2012 which would suck?!?

Fingers crossed they'll announce a tentative release date I doubt it though. I'm still waiting for confirmation of an Ico HD Collection. (I can hope right)

Ffffff I'm so sick of this. Do they drag these games out to five years of development because htat's how long a game takes or is it possibly a weird marketing team orders thing? Last TGS (I think it was TGS, but possibly gamescom?) had a trailer which looked reasonably polished... or was that two years ago?
