A week after the release of Mafia II, 2K Games have announced new DLC titled “Jimmy’s Vendetta” for Xbox 360, Windows PC and PS3. It is set for release on 7th of September 2010.
The new DLC will allow players to take on the role of Jimmy, a character that “other guys call when they need to finish the job”. This entails cleaning up the mess that goes with dealing with Italian and Irish mobs in Mafia II.

Features of the DLC include the ability to unlock quests that involve classic mobster behaviour- assassinations and car chases. There will be 30 new missions in total.
Dependent on how extreme players carry out these missions, multipliers and combos will be totalled up and posted on a new online leader board, “providing extensive re-playability”.
Local pricing has not been officially announced, however it is likely to cost roughly $15 NZD or 800 Xbox Live Points.

I wonder if they would release a GOTY edition with all the DLC included later
I hate this DLC bull sh*t. Release DLC 6 months or a years later ok fine, but the game has been out only a week or so. Could have easily had this included in the retail game. Just a way to get people to keep on paying.
Yeah pretty poor form coming out with this only just after release. As djkicks stated it should have been included... doubt the disc is full. and even if it was the dlc should be free.
They may do a GOTY edition but depends if the game does alright.

What a load...the game only just came out. Especially when I read about how theres bugger all to do in the game...and then this randomly appears. Should be free.

Yep and sadly it's only gonna get worse as gamers give into temptation and buy :(
