I remember an age when reaching 200 members seemed like a herculean feat. How far the site has come!

Id doubt it. Itll be a staff member, how would u know at signup if u really were the 10000th? does it say?

It says at the bottom of the forums so maybe an opportunist seized the... opportunity. It's possible. I think there's actually something like 10,200 members but there are a lot of spam and deleted accounts.Id doubt it. But even if the account was created by staff, which is possible, 10,000 members is pretty awesome! Sure, a lot of those probably signed up once and never came back and there are probably a bunch of users who visit the site but don't sign in etc but 10,000 people is like a NZ town, it's signigicant and NZG deserves to celebrate it.
Congratulations guys. You provide a site and forum where us gamers can make our online home. It's really incredible to see such a large user base on a Kiwi run site. A toast to the future! May it contain more pwnage!
