RPG Forum User Developing "Serial Killer" Title

Rpgcodex.net user TheCrimsonKing is creating a rather provocatively named title, Serial Killer. The game is described as a 'Roguelike' RPG. In his post, TheCrimsonKing linked to this demo footage, showing off some of the title's current features.

The developer notes, “I am not advocating or condoning murder or any of the crimes that take place in it. I feel that the subject of serial killers, specifically the psychological conditions that drive them to do what they do, is one of interest and will hopefully translate into a unique game that has a vast number of potential options for play.” They also plan on adding cannibalism to the title.

TheCrimsonKing said his goal for the full version, "is to create a large city with a day and night cycle, populated by NPC's who adhere to schedules. The NPC's will be clustered into factions (civilian, police, criminals, so on), so you can, if you wish, play like Dexter and find criminals to kill rather than civilians. I also plan to add day jobs that you can use to make money, as well as real estate to buy."

The game. Well, at least the way he's trying to justify it. Don't bother saying you're trying to get into 'the psychological conditions that drive them to do what they do." You can't do that with a game. Srsly.
