THQ and Double Fine are teaming up for four downloadable titles. The first of which will be Costume Quest, a Halloween-based Action RPG.

CEO Tim Schafer says he wants Double Fine's first downloadable games to make a "big impression" and hinted at the next release. "We wanted to make a big impression with these, our first downloadable games ever," said Schafer. "So we are coming out swinging with two great adventures from two of the most creative minds in the company."

1up.com reports the second title in the deal is a third person adventure, aiming for an early 2011 release.

Given the Halloween theme combined with Double Fine's trademark humour, this title could be 'triple fine'.
