New DLC for Bioshock 2

Fans of Bioshock 2 will soon be able to add more life to the game after 2K announced Minerva’s Den. This is a single-player add on that will be available for download for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.



No details yet in regards to the pricing or release date however it has been confirmed that Minerva’s Den will be the final installment of downloadable content.

Minerva’s Den will contain a new district of the undersea city as well as new weaponry to combat “never-before-seen type of Big Daddy“ and “more dangerous Splicers “.

In related news, the first single-player downloadable content for Bioshock 2 has been delayed for PC. ‘Protector Trials’, recently released for Xbox 360 and PS3, was not seen on ‘Games for Windows Live’. The delay has been confirmed by 2K’s Game’s Elizabeth Tobey through the developers forum. The date of release is still unknown
