Australia's Quest For An R18 Rating Isn't Over

Australia's quest for an R18 rating has hit another snag, as Kotaku AU reports that the Standing Committee of Attorneys-Generals were meant to meet this month to discuss the issue. However, that meeting has been canceled due to the forthcoming Federal Election.

The initial meeting idea came about after a public consultation which prompted a Standing Committee of Attorneys-Generals meeting in May to debate the topic. That meeting lead to the announcement of the - now canceled - meeting. Leaving any move forward on hold until the next meeting, which is set to take place in November.
