Atari announced yesterday that a wet, wild and totally soaked new expansion pack to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 will ride into stores this June. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked!, the first expansion pack to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, one of the biggest PC games of 2004, will let players create and control their own water parks for the first time.
"The RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! expansion pack will build on the amazing success of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 by providing players with the chance to thrill their park guests with extreme water rides, new coasters, aquatic animal shows, and, of course, tons of interactive water", said Martin Spiess, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Atari Europe.
With RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! the park guests will catch rays and ride the waves on more than fifty new rides and coasters including super-splash flume rides, massive water slides, wave pools and more. Players will also be able to create aquatic spectaculars with performing dolphins, killer whale shows and customisable aquariums as well as design dazzling laser light water shows and synch them to music with the H20 MixMaster. A new Swimming Pool Designer and Waterfall Designer will let players add hundreds of new park enhancements to create the ultimate summer fun experience as well as other new features that extend and enhance the original game.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! is being developed by Frontier Developments, Ltd. of Cambridge, England, in conjunction with Chris Sawyer, the creator and sole developer of RollerCoaster Tycoon, and will be released in June for the PC.
