In light of recent reports regarding an Respawn Entertainment announcement at E3 fraudulent facebook post, Electronic Arts today confirmed with IGN that the newly formed developer will not be making any announcements at the show.

The Facebook post, created in a group named "Vince Zampella and Jason Wes" teased "big time announcement at E3 next week. stay tuned, kiddies!".

Since its inception, the Respawn founders have been hiring their former Infinity Ward employees.

Well, if this means they're working on their new IP for EA, then all good.

Even though they're repsonsible for the MW series, I'd be keen to see what other ideas they have outside of that.

Its not surprising because preparing for E3 happens like months in advance and they had only made the company a couple of months ago, and they must start from scratch since they cant take anything from IW.
