Unique Features, a film studio formed by ex-New Line staff Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne, has picked up the rights to produce a film based on Sony's Heavy Rain.

Shayne and Lynne reportedly used their own money to score top bid on an auction for the rights. The auction was held by CAA for Heavy Rain developer, Quantic Dream. The deal is expected to be completed soon.

Either Quantic need money, or are running out of it, because if you've played the game, you've seen the movie as Nims said.
