Raven Software to Develop a Call of Duty?

Activision is rumoured to be calling another developer in to keep the Call of Duty series going, in light of the recent trouble at Infinity Ward. A source close to Raven Software told Kotaku that the developer has been called up to develop titles for the franchise.

The source told Kotaku that Raven's current projects - which include a James Bond title and a follow up to X-Men Origins: Wolverine - have been put on hold so the developer could work on Call of Duty.

Kotaku has contacted the publisher and developer but as yet, neither have replied.

Activision needs to give the COD franchise a rest instead of pumping so many of them out.

As long as everyone keeps forking over money for them they won't. Problem is there is millions and millions of people who will.
