Gizmodo reports that a gamer broke his hand when he rolled over his hand while playing PlayStation 3 exclusive, God of War III. The injured man's doctor sent Gizmodo an x-ray of the hand.

The Doctor comments, "I had a patient who was so caught up in playing God of War III that he rolled over his hand with his knee and broke two fingers. The radiograph is attached (with his information omitted and arrows that point to the fractures). First time I've seen such an extreme gaming injury."

Once this is uploaded on IGN or any other American gaming site, the fanboys are going to come out in full force.
Maybe he has the same disorder as Joker(Normandy's Pilot) outta Mass Effect.
wow thats mad, how can you be so detached from your body to hurt yourself?????
It must've been a hyper excited fat kid who was jumping up and down either by not being able to pass a level or excited by passing a level then landing on his hands...
It sounds like bullsh*t to me. I read it yesterday on a US site. How are you ever in a position while playing the game to crush your finger under your knee?
Also, why would a doctor send his patients x-ray in to some website?

Doesnt explain the mechanism very well, poorly written by a Dr.
Looking at the xray ...
he could have brittle bone disease.. (but i doubt it)
or
hyperflexed/hyperextended his fingers on his thigh/knee on the roll (this makes him a complete tard) - but this would have to be done VERY fast and forcebly, so i feel its unlikely
or
he has punched or hammerfisted something in gamer-rage lol
being a physio id see similar fractures from people who have punched something incorrectly (hint: if your going to punch something (or someone) hit um with the index and middle finger knuckles... not the 4th/5th - you will break) and usually they'll never admit how they really did it, ill get lies but will get it outta them when i ask 'who or what did u punch?' lol
