Microsoft has announced that Crackdown 2, the sequel to 2007's crime shooter is set for release in New Zealand on July 8.
In addition, they have released the first in a series of three interviews with developer Ruffian Games. Titled Fun with Friends, the video below features interviews with Ruffian Games creative director Billy Thomson, lead producer James Cope, senior engineer David Hynd and senior mission designer Dean Smith - focusing on the title's multiplayer modes and power-ups.

Yeah, the original was a great action title. I saw it as a 3D rendition of classic action games like the Robocop titles; you're just charging around a huge city shooting bad guys.
