The thirteenth instalment in the core Final Fantasy is finally available in New Zealand on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Final Fantasy XIII launched in Japan late last year - after four years in development - and was met with critical acclaim in famed Japanese publication Famitsu, while a few fans panned it for being too linear.
During the build up to its international release, the western-exclusive Xbox 360 release and PlayStation 3 version met with some controversy over differences between them - most notably the lower resolution supposedly needed to fit the game on three Xbox 360 discs.

I will still say FF XIII is better than God of War III. GoW III is only 10 hours long while FF XIII is 60 hours. Graphically I feel FF XIII is superior. Then again it all comes down to personal preference.

You can't say a completey different genre game is better than the other, it makes no sense. Better graphics don't make a better game. One game is an adventure hack n slash and the other is a turn based Game/RPG, you shouldn't be comparing them.
